They are going to do a biopsy Thursday.  Then they will test it for cancer & we'll go from there..  Who knows how long that will take..  The scary thing is the speed the cyst formed..  It wasn't there in January-March and is now 1 inch..  That's why the Doc's took notice..  Earlier this year when she told me about her pain I said it sounds like it was in the pancreas area but the Doc's ruled it out for some reason..  Now they are on it..  So until we get the test results we have to play the waiting game..  It's deja-vu after our youngest son had growths that metastasized quickly until he passed on the operating table..

So Rich-  Yes, I do realize the blessings we have been bestowed from God yet still fear this..  All I can do is hope and pray.

Thanks everyone for your thoughts & Prayers..

Hopefully the procedure is successful and the results are negative.
Either way, continue to cherish the days and try not to dwell on the negatives if you can.
Easier said than done, but it's worth the try.

Good luck, God bless you and yours. Praying for good news and good health.

When it rains it pours..  My wife's 85 YO (+ 5 days) dad passed away a few hours ago..  He's been in a nursing home for the last year & a half..  Another Vet gone to his maker..  Weird how it all started..  He was due to make the Honor Flight last May and went to the doctor to get clearance and the doctor sent him to the emergency room..  Too bad he didn't get to go..  He's been in the nursing home since due to the fact that we can't take care of him because we both work and nobody else in the family could either..  My wife has gone over to see him every night for months and I worried about how she could keep it up with her own issues..  Looks like it's moot now..  He had a long and good life..  May he Rest in peace now..

Sorry to hear of your loss. While we don't understand God's plans, we know it is to His glory. Somehow. Prayers for you and your wife through this troubling time.

Please know we are all saddened with you.
It sounds like your FIL had a good life with family who loved him.
