Who says I can't build a boat? Might look a bit hokey, but she hasn't sunk. And I put it together in half an evening with things off the storage shelf.

Not me!!! The first time a power boat went by, the wake would tip that thing over.

I'd want a little more stability, but it's a really cool idea. Remember the rafts we built as kids? A guaranteed soaking in the creek every spring.

This is my yacht I bought online

It came as a kit in a box tied with twine

From the picture I saw on ebay it looked so fine

A luxury boat on which I could live on and dine

The price looked too good to be true

Now that I own it I may have to sue

I got it assembled and launched on the lake

But I must have missed a few steps and parts when I did it make

It has a captains chair but not quite as was shown

The one in the picture was much plusher and sewn

The motor it came with does not look quite right

Described as two V8's that would give it quick flight

I had to supply a battery to make the propeller turn

It makes little ripples in the water I have learned

I knew for the engine I would have to supply the fuel

But I think I have been taken - I feel like a fool

And I find that the fiberglass hull it should have had

Is simply pink insulation - I am terribly sad

So if you see a boat for sale and the price looks way too low

Pass on it and move on or for you as well tears of sorrow may flow
