  • hi guys been a while got my 12 hydro going finallyl but it keeps going farther to the forward pos the only way to go slower is to keep pressure on the left pedal ,let your foot off and away you go . did i miss some thing in the adj or is there a spring missing.thanks

Ummm! Can we be more specific here with brand/model or such?  If you posted earlier, didn't see, sorry! Sounds like you have something wrong or maybe linkage not right?  You didn't say reverse, is that unobtainable then?  There should be a Neutral spot to adjust it too, think you missed that and have it adjusted all too far one way I would say. You have manual for your tractor to guide you?

Sounds like you might need to adjust the linkage and cam guide.


Here page 19 shows how to adjust it.

The guide should show you how to adjust a "brake pad" on the actuating handle, on the bottom of the tractor.  I would also strongly suggest you check in the seat "tunnel" area for a cracked or broken weld that is allowing your frame to flex between the axle and the control handle.
