Thinking a bucket of sand. Thinking of making a bucket mount. Dad is using his machinist mind as we speak!

Well dad made a weight shelf out of some old metal we had laying around and added reinforcement to it.  We used some Simplicity weights from a freebie on side of the road this summer and the Bolens front wheel weights we were given for the 1256. Think it is about 120 pound range. The weight sure helps with traction as we tried it on un-cleaned hill. The carb had a piece of dirt come off while in use and flooded engine badly as you can see! We managed to fire it and get to garage. Dad cleaned carb and found some junk in bowl. Maybe I missed it when cleaning tank? Fresh gas and some much needed use must have shook it loose. Adjusted carb and tried it some more. WOT RPM is a little higher which helps with blowing. This old snow was no huge challenge now! Thank God for flapper rubber mod!

First try with weights , can see when engine flooded severely!

Second try after carb fix. Dad filmed for me!

UM why are you posting your build on my thread? I thought you were showing me how you modified your machine?

The Nor'easter gave me a good trial of the machine! It worked real well thank God! Plan on using it today to clean up further and perhaps go to sisters and clean where dad's plow truck was having issues. Their driveway was soft and dad dug in alot!
