I cant believe how empty I feel, from my post yesterday I was going to sell some tractors to a guy who I was told had deep pockets, and he did, last night I had made up my mind what I was going to part with but this guy would not take no as an answer, and he wanted my best stuff, ended up selling  3 beautifully restored rjs 2 decent rs  and 3 restored suburbans, the whole thing happened so fast, first he wanted this, then that, I said they weren't for sale then he says i'll give you (an insane amount of money) for the 3 rjs , and he just kept buying, not to get specific but it was well over 10k that he spent on those gts. I should be happy but they were my babys, I have some more rjs I can restore this winter but I don't think it will be the same, I cant believe how attached I was to them, I know I made out like a bandit but the money doesn't seem to mean that much right now. oh and guess what, hes making coffee and end tables out of them and a bar

Rj's are a Wheel Horse model, RJ= Ride-Away Jr, aka ball burners. I think RS stands for Ride-Away Sr.

I understand your seller's remorse. The first and most important question is: will the check clear? After that, be glad you have money to play with. Now with the experience that you have gained on the others, you can do a better job on the next one. The way things are going, I think that you have done the right thing. Just don't let the wife spend it all for you. Good Luck, Rick

after a couple or hours I feel better, its was sort of the same feeling as losing a pet, the money will go to my daughters education, I think i'll have to work on something else before any more rjs  just to get over the shock, and now comes even more sellers remorse is the fact he paid cash and I only took 1/2 the wad he had

I've seen several tables made out of old tractors. They don't use everything. Find out if he has any parts left over you wold like to have them back. Buyers remorse will heal just think about what you done for your daughter.
