Hard to pass a freebe like this. Runs and mows like a new one. Everything works except amp meter. Order a new one from Sears. I inquired about it and the guy just gave it to me cause he had a new John Deere.

Good looking tractor. Especially good for the price.
Wait until you see the belt routing on that :D

Since it's a hydro, do a check on the input pulley on the tranny to make sure it isn't loosening. They are NLA.

The big hang up with Sears is everything they have made has to have sears part numbers.  Make it real hard some time to cross the parts over and if sears don't have it ? ? ?   Looks like a decent machine and the price was right.  Hopefully it is in as good a condition mechanically as it is cosmetically.  Did you check to make sure the alternator was charging before buy a new amp meter?  Good luck with you new project.

Great deal! We have two like that but in older gray. One my neighbor gave us and other we bought for $75! Good luck with it!
