Would you split parts off and ship?

Well it's mine now via eBay just gotta see when I can get out there, I have emailed the seller a few times while the sale was live. He had a 20hp Magnum listed too, I bid on it too and got beaten on it by 1 bid increment but the way eBay works IDK how much the winner actually bid on it.
Whoever won that got a good deal as most eBay idiots these days sell just the long block and separate out the carb starter and such, this one was sold complete.

I may consider parts not needed as "trade bait" once I see what is and isn't there and what I need for my 2 machines.

I have it now, guy pirated the engine for a Terramite(?) that he had all painted up and mostly back together next to this pile of parts.

The Terramite had a 12hp Kohler and the Ariens had a 16HP Kohler. he bought the Ariens just for that.... I see most of what I need there in the pile for my machines, except no rear PTO shaft.   I don't need them right now but no gas tank or steering wheel either. It had front wheels/tires but not rears, I had to take a pair from here to put on it to roll it up into my truck.

The guy also had what you guys call a Plastic King, (power king w/ plastic hood)  with a deck that he had listed on Feebay, listed after the sale for the machine that this thread is about ended. Last I saw it was only at $76 w/ 5 bids at the time. I didn't get within 20' of it but from what I saw it looked to be in nice condition. That 20HP that I mentioned above came from it, he wanted to put that onto the Terramite but I guess he'd have had to modify it too much to adapt it to fit this engine.... he sold the 20HP for $500,

I asked why he didn't reassemble it to the plastic king and sell it whole, he said that he didn't think he'd get that for the tractor+engine whole. He did cut the right side frame rail on the Ariens because he could not get to the engine bolts, could weld a tab back in and it would be about right for an opposed twin then,  about the same size cutout as the flare-out on the frame of my GT19.

I remember struggling with those engine bolts myself. Separates the mechanic from the wannabes.

yeah, but the tractor that is the subject of this thread had a single cyl Kohler on it. When I put the engine onto my New Holland S14, (same tractor as an Ariens, remember?) it didn't seem as bad to get those engine mount bolts as it was to get to the ones on the twin in my GT19

It was the K341 in my S-16 I was thinking of. I haven't had to pull the M18, yet. Probably make pulling out the K feel like a walk in the park.

the tractor is now in Illinois. It was missing the rear PTO when I got it. I was hoping it was there, as I had it figured to go onto one of mine that doesn't have it either.  I have 3 of these units plus now, the parts machine that was the subject of this thread.

2 of my tractors don't have the rear PTO.
