Ok I was mowing and I sto jest to find out I have no park in are 4840 I can't finger this out I need some help

You shouldn't have spark on a 4840. It's a diesel, so first step is to drain the gas out of it.

Oops, you said park. Red lever closest to your right knee, all the way forward. Slightly longer lever just to the right of it, pulled all the way back.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this post the problem is that it won't go down in to park if the lever is even their it jest pops back out
I've tried a lot of things but I jest can't get it to stay or go in to park

Tear the console apart, you've got trash in the linkage or the space in front of it. I did that once with a bee- oops, pop bottle cap.
