Looks great, Brian!! :bounce::bounce::bounce:

Since I don't live close enough, to come over and beg for a test drive, I guess I'll have to be satisfied with watching the video when you post it. :D

The plan is to get her mowing to see how well it will cut with the frount mounted deck.
After I play around with her for a while I probably will restore it.

WOW...didn't know they came with "auto-pilot"! LOL Those sure are neat machines, and she's running nice! I figure the steering has to be heavy with the front deck installed. I think it will be a great restore project!

When I brought it home the deck was on it and It steered pretty easily even when It was not moving.

Brian, do these machines pivot as well as steer from the center, or does the front axle pivot?

The only place that moves is right in the center of the tractor. Under the tractor there is a big spring and a rod with tie rod ends on it that moves the center Pivot back and forth. The front wheels and axle never move

Hope I explained that well.

The resto probably wont be for a while. Its definietly the first one on my restoration list though.

BTW.... The yellow parts are made out of aluminum , do you need a special paint for aluminum?

I want one. Those are just begging for some one to fix them up. I'd be proud to mow with it.
