O.K. the member map is not available to the members and one of the mods just confirmed they can't see it either... Here is the situation: I have about 3.5 acres that can be gated from the cows that is virtually flat that I want to plow up this fall and figured why not check the map and see if anybody is close enough to invite a few folks over some Saturday in October to have some fun. Sure I could plow it up in no time with a big tractor but why not have some Gt fun ? Even with just a few Gt's this wouldn't be but a few hours worth of work, so wouldn't want somebody to come too far. Was last plowed about 5 years (maybe 6) has been hay since, just pulled the last cutting so shouldn't tangle any plows. Looking at October 15, 22, or 29 currently, after that pretty cold usually. Don't want to conflict with other plow days, but I'm not aware of any others anywhere near here then or I'd be trying to get there! Although off the beaten track semi's can turn around here at the farm, plenty of room for parking, neighbors are not an issue other than during deer season this could be a not safe field ! Post office building with ZIP 43711 is about 2 miles from farm. Let me know your thoughts....

It's about a 4:30 drive for me. I'm just west of Indianapolis. As much as I like to plow, not sure I could make it out there.

Isn't he over in Indiana ? I'm over 3 hours across Rt70 to the boarder, maybe I'm mixed up, faces and names seem to keep getting harder for me....

Well that answers my above comment ! Maybe I should have read more before typing....Ya, would be great to see you but that's pretty far unless you had some other reason to be this way. Next time we head out to in-laws/outlaws (whatever) may have to stop n have coffee.

Jim

It's all up in the air currently so dates are flexible for me currently. Been running my brother back n forth to Columbus for cancer, so weekends are better.  But even some  Friday afternoon/early evening would be o.k. if anybody needs that setup.

Depending on the construction around Washington Pa, Bentlyville etc. and thru that stretch I'm guessing your about 3 hours. Ohio Rt70 west  to Ohio Rt 77 south, second exit and then about nine miles of paved two lane to the farm road which is 1.2 miles of gravel.

Had a buddy up near Apollo that I've lost all my numbers etc. for, he was close to 3 hours with a coffee stop.
