Today I opened up the reverser advised from a friend good thing too, the only thing in there was the dried up gear oil on the magnet behind the plug. I decided it needed a good bath of carb cleaner an motor oil an a spinning we went for a few runs with flushing in between an rusty fluid ran out each time but little by little it was looking better, I also unplugged the rear axle an let that drain while I cleaned a paint gun an good news it just looks like dirty gear oil now. Oh an here's a couple pics.20161201_142545.jpg

Well just a little update on this the reverser is now full of 20w50 to soak an the trans is full of 5w40 to soak. Hopefully with them soaking an me giving them a spin once in awhile itll help loosen up anything that is still left.

If it's not cleaned and free yet, use atf and acetone mixed 50/50. That'll free things up.

Well every time I go to.the garage an spin it a bit an the oil that has leaked out is nasty looking but my guess the rust color is coming from the reverser since it's dripping off the pulley
