People may have talk but from the $$ I've seen spent on big box store tractors.....lol. I'll stick to keeping something worth it alive. We grew up the backwoods life having had allis chalmers, case ingersal, bolens, roper, Deere, ford and even a cub 70. To each their own just because it ain't pretty doesn't mean it's junk lol.

Once I get settled in methinks old girl might get the proper rear tires lol those tiny Murray rears left me needing the neighbors troybuilt pony to help pull last night.

Well i now work at a three bay small engine and automotive garage/tint and customisation im one of two mechanics.....big discount on parts plus i see alot of deeres in the day and alot of discarded deeres........methinks this lt113 will get a makeover. Went to the hardware store before this job and they carry commercial husky mowers ect. They asked for the model of deere for the deck belt i told them the 1998 lt113....he said that it was a real deere and they dont sell parts nor belts lmao....we do.

My lt133 now has officially begun to go back to true jd standards lol front wheels are jd stock with actual ball bearing not steel inserts like the la and other l series ive been working in the shop on, brand new jd ignition, new stator, hood is off a troy built pony with headlightz but getting repaint srry guys i cant do plastic hoods. The rear tires are proper height but not width yet as ive yet to go that far stack is beginning to be a real stack working on chrome tubing and all as muffler caught fire yet again with all the lot maint i do as well brush kept piling inside the muffler gaurd.

Lol the old muffler rotted out the core so it ran lean add in a mouse nest inside and i used up a fire extinguisher lol. Pictures coming soon its still sitting up the street in our shop having motor mount issues, they vibrate loose wallowed out one cracked, debating on how to go about it without a new bottom end. Helicol is a possibility but i was hoping more for a nut and bolt type setup.....alas kholer command doesnt have a open top on the mounts.

This is a sort-of before picture lol reworking the exhaust we even debated going with the new kholer standard vaccume powered fuel pump as the old one blew its gasket out which blew alot of fuel in the carb and oil on the frame. We have tons of the newer kholer parts, and the mechanical one is the opposite side of the carb allowing the metal fuel line to be exposed to heat from the head, the rear tire is on order to put both rear super wide john deere rims and tires back on, deck is getting several plates welded on cleaned up and possibly paint, have a brand new ignition, solenoid, and making a plate for the stator i have for it (ran without stator or battery for over a year. The gravity feed tank was temp as i was rushed to cut 6-8 acres of grass with a bad fuel pump. Brand new kevlar deck belt (ps john deere lt133 belts are normally hard to find i found mine matches up exactly with an aftermarket mtd belt in lowes for like a 48 inch or something deck. Saved $$. New drive belt spring has had some added tension for the drive as well brakes work excellent. Out of all the l series, la series and d? Series i see daily at our shop i still like my lil non hydro 1998 jd lt133 out of em all...esp over the l130 series that ive had every single one come in over the hydro fluid issues (word to the wise sythetic fluid is a good replacement). Eyballing an old 1980's original blue mtd 16hp we have had since the start of the shop years ago collecting dust he wants to fix up and sell. (Old models any make are my favs)76f4b6d324a6629ffdfd052a2689fd66.jpga317384ac7165244e9553b7b6e312f45.jpg6d4031252a00f46873418be8528bf00e.jpg
