Anybody close by wanting a 4-wheel trailer? I have a frame from a Craftsman II that would make a good one. I already have one so I thought I would show what you could use.

To far away and I have 2 now.  Also 3 frames in the scrap pile.  They do make good 4 wheel wagons though.

Kenny,

How heavy made is that one??  I am wanting to make one from a GT frame.

I thought about using my JD316 parts tractor since it has a heavy built frame.

I'd have to check, but thinking close to 1/8" thick!

I have been thinking of building one out of a Bolens tube frame chassis. I have one sitting here, mostly stripped, but with the front axle and tie rods still there. I would just have to work out the tongue and add a rear axle and deck.  And then think of a purpose for it. The last one is the tough one, but it may happen anyway.

Jim,

I am thinking of making a tilt bed 4 wheel trailer. Since my 316 frame still has the hydro fittings and lines still attached. So, my thinking is to use those to hook up a cylinder under the bed to lift the dump bed.
