i dont get this. when i checked fliud level it was good.its been leaking fliud from vent tube. it must only do it when its parked, never see any drips on floor. i moved this thing less than 20 feet, parked it and look at the puddle! whats up with this thing?

came from vent tube, the only thing under it thats wet.

also going to change fluid whats the best way? looks like i have a plug in the hydro oil pan.

That should have Red Type A automatic transmission fluid in it.That looks like that Traveler hydraulic oil from TSC.That stuff is way to thick.It's a 30 wt hydro oil.ATF Type A is much much thinner.

If it's puking fluid then it's to full or to thick and can't burp the air out without pushing fluid out.
I filled mine up till it was between 1/4 and 1/2 way up the tube.Manual says if fluid is visible on the tube then the fluid level is good.There is not a fill mark on the tube.Just put it in till you can see it on the tube and your done.
If you fill it to full it won't have enough room for expansion and it will puke fluid out all over the place and possible blow out the 1" O ring between the oil sump and pump housing or the pan gasket.

Something to look into would be an umbrella on the shaft, made out of old inner tube to help relocate the water.
