The seal can probably be found at a bearing/hydraulic shop. Try removing it without damaging it, there may be numbers on the seal.

I use a place called Tri State Bearing.

 Welcome to the forum. I have 2 of these. Nice machines. The axle seals are part # 788049 and are still available from Sears. The owners manual has the parts listing in it. Just be careful taking the hub off the axle, those are hard to find.

Morning all   What I have been told is I have a Eaton-11 hydrostatic transmission not a  Peerless trans axle that is a manual have looked in my book and if I did that right my seals are not available though sears. Am I wrong? I hope so like you said the 788049 is available but thats for the left side of a peerless the right is different?

thanks everyone

That rear unit is an Eaton 11/ Peerless2500 combo. Both seals are the same, changed one set out on my FF20 a while back. The Ford LGT hydros use the same unit, just different axles (5 lug).
