Don't know if this is the right place to post this but.... I have a Gravely 810 with what I assume is a Kohler K241 10hp engine (the engine tag is gone.)  My success ratio in rebuilding carburetors is zero, so I've found a cheaper route (for me ) is to buy a new carburetor from Amazon whenever I have a problem.  This Kohler however is presenting a problem. None of the K241 carburetors have a ball on the throttle shaft, which my Gravely 810 does have.  ALL the Kohler k341 carburetors have the ball.  So my question is, what are the likely results of putting an K341 carb on a K241 engine.

It won't run very well. Can you take the ball of your old carb and put it on the new?
