Mighty proud of his machine I would say. Know where there are a couple of them in this area and both have the front axle wore out completely. One needs the cross member and axle completely rebuilt. Tractors weren't built to take the use and abuse a loader gives it.

its no wonder americans thinks Canadians are a few marbles short. he did get the snow scraped clean with that down pressure after the snowstorm we had in august!

Lets not forget the exchange rate Canadian vs US dollars currently. (76) That would drop the price to 2660 in US coin. Then negotiation could get some (maybe) I personally would not want to break that unit apart BUT look at what some of those parts have been bringing individually: (in USD)
Rear fenders 150-200 consistently
IH wheel weights 125/pr
Original rear weight box (RARE) 150 or more ?
dual attachments (if original) 125 - 200
Creeper gear set-up 200 or more
Danco pump ?? maybe 225 or more, its not the regular IH hydraulic lift pump that brings that 225 or so its special to this application
The loader itself ?? 800 - 1200 (try building one and see how much gets into it) This is engineered for the IH Original
Location and demand always changes the price of anything and maybe his asking price is a little proud but that is a rare unit and looks to be all there. I will agree that the front axle will likely need work, but that maybe the cheapest part of an IH Original
Just another opinion (and we know what they can be worth !)
