Is the G-9 for parts or do you have an engine for it? The sheet metal looks to be in decent shape.

No engine, was maybe going to put in a Briggs 8hp I have around. Just pull start though. I see in manuals some had Briggs, so guess it is fit-able. The hood isn't too bad and the dash area should clean up, but the seat pan was whacked in center for underseat gas tank and in back kinda chunk whacked out. It didn't steer at first, but with oils and working it, does some now, just a little tight. Seems to be in the sector area, axle end is loose and greased. I'm gonna tear down some and just see if stuff missing or whatever on drive line area before I get too far along. Least this one will have belt tension clutch, and not that crazy one like my G14 has and is/was expensive to fix. I haven't even tried the gear box to see if all those work yet. This one is not gonna be Bolen's colors either. Thinking something crazy like Orange or Lime Green, just for fun. Will be OK, seeing it is not going to be a real restoration anyway.

Tractor tags says Model 855 and serial 0101880. SO, guess first year then with the 01 start? Massey was running today, see my other posts on start of that. Have video if I can figure out the linking here and such, hard for me to figure such things out.
