I log on to MRN.com Motor Racing Network with my lap top to get the audio, and

Log in to http://www.nascar.co...scar-drive.html to watch the battle cam.

Is there a better "FREE" way?

Yeah but then you have to listen to that idiot Daryl Waltrip all afternoon, best way to watch it is not at all, it's faker than pro wrestling the same 10 drivers are in the top 10 for the last 5 years. I love racing and motorsports but Nascar is the worst

Watch it live by satellite which I have for all TV.   If you think NASCAR is so fake you don't know squat about NASCAR.

We quit watching NASCAR a few years ago when JJ kept winning.

We never really had a "favorite", but we sure had "Least favorites"!!

I was more interested in how do you watch "show X" when only on antenna. I used NASCAR as my example, and it was on NBCSN last night. I can only watch when it's on NBC or FOX.

When you only have an outside antenna you have a problem getting what you want.  When NASCAR let the contract out for televised races they blew it when they didn't restrict it to the regular networks.  All they did is pissed fans off and they quit watching, or had to spend an extra $20 a month to get the "Sports Network" channels.  No different than NFL, NBA, Baseball and others.

All televised sports are a buisness, and it pays well obviously! This is the world we live in now. If you want to see a real competition you will have to find something that the mighty dollar does not affect. I remember when boxing went south, now we have this MMA garbage, I could only watch a few minutes of that before it made me sad to say the age of pugalism was over.

If you guys who hate NASCAR want to watch real racing visit your local dirt track.

If you have the internet you can pretty much watch anything. Some by legal means some not not so legal.

Maybe sometime I will step into the "laptop" era---LOL! The only ones we can sit and watch are night races as my wife is a fan too but during the day I have 2 TV's in the shop with basic cable. They never even get turned on unless there's a race. We have a local AM radio station that usually carries the MRN broadcast but only if they are on Sunday.

Been a fan of this stuff for 50 years this year and had a small attachment to it from '73-'75. The quality of the competition back then can't hold a candle to what it has built up to now.
