Really cool machines and $750 is a good price on it, last I saw one was in Boonville ny at the snowmobile swap met 3 years ago and it was NOT FOR SALE !!!!!  I have seen them around in horrible shape for under $400 but anything good goes for $1500 or better.  6500 is not that big of a number when you consider 50 years of degradation, use and overall stupidity has probably taken more than half of them out of service over the years.

Contact the guy and see if he will ship it via Fastenal, probably going to be expensive as you will need two pallets. one for the tractor and one for the sled.  Good luck titus I hope you get it.

IDK about that this one has been listed many times and has yet to sell.   There was one not to far from this one for $300 it sold.  I got mine for $200.     6,500+ is a very big number in production number of a bolens product.

All the years I have been into Bolens, have never seen one around here either, they are cool looking, sure they were more popular in the heavy snow areas

Not rare by any means in my opinion, but obviously the further south you go the less you will see

Lots of these up in the snow belt , NY, WI, MI, ect. They had a big rally in 2011 of these sleds and there were a bunch who made it to the show.

Another 50th anniversary rally is in WI this year in January

You can even see an original Prototype sled front and center

i have seen that same one on there for at least a year and there is a wheel horse gt-14 on ebay for 2 years. I think they put high prices on them because they don't want to sell them

"Honey, you said to sell it, I've tried. I'll try again in the spring"

Used that line on my ex for years. Now my new g/f who is VERY OCD, doesn't like rust, but sees the happiness it brings me, so I hope I won't have to use that line for years to come. :)

My wife wanted me to sell my 77 F250 when i bought my 97 F250 HD. I put it on craigslist with a 4000 dollar price tag.

"But babe no one wants it!" Lol
