its all there but the rear-end

I just drove 200 miles to pick up this Bolens.

Let me start off saying, it was buried for 30 yrs., in a hoarder's house-in the basement. This item was one of the very last to leave the house. The hoarder's son said his dad completely took apart this tractor (along with other tractor's) and motorcycles etc. The father took all of his tractors apart so he could make room for MORE tractors. He built a lean-to against the house that was packed with tractor parts! The shame of it all-all of it went to the scrap yard about 3 years ago. Even the rear-end for the 600. When the son started cleaning out the house, he had know idea what was there or what they had. The son said you couldn't even walk thru any of the doors to the house, it was so packed!

So now I'm saving It.... I will have more pictures when I unload the car and separate all the parts.

Don't we have a member that does that? But he's a collector, not a hoarder.

OH MY GOD!!! YOUR TALKING ABOUT ME! HA HA HA !!!! glad to see you found your holy grail. its a shame what the next generation throws out, I just had a talk with my son about my tractors, and informed him that my so called junk or hoard as he calls it is worth $35k minimum as I have 70+ gts, 20 which are restored or great original condition so if he has too much money he should donate them to someone else to enjoy as I have over the years, its not like we wont drive for free stuff.

Only have 10 and they all stay in a closed building.  All in working dress but the one RAM which has been refurbished and is the granddaughters tractor.  Work on them doing what they need to keep running.  The White in the shop now will get new paint as the tin work is totally rust covered.  We all have our own opinion as to what our tractors are worth but the fact is they are worth what ever someone is willing to pay on any given day.
