Because the exhaust comes out the back of the tractor, while your sawing wood the fumes come right at you, and the old tractor started to burn oil this year and that makes the fumes worse. So, I got a pipe made and slipped it on to the muffler pipe to direct the fumes and smoke away. So far so good. No exhaust smell today.

Had an extra flapper, so stuck that on to.

Flappers are also very good to do carb adjustments. Just watch the flapper to see what the best setting is.

Ya, looks funny. But I like it. Don't know if I will take it to a show or not. Ha hehe. If I had a farmall or other type of antique tractor with stack up on engine bonnet, that would be good.

Noel.

If it works, so be it! Doubt you are standing back there looking at it all the time!
