Just got my first jacobsen 1000 today. The tractor is pretty rough and needs a lot of work but i figure it'll probably turn into a restoration project. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me the year...

He is correct. 1966 is the only year with those foot rests and the peerless trans

ok thanks a lot guys I kinda figured it must be due to the footrests. Does anyone know any guys that sell misc parts for them? I know ebay sometimes has good stuff.
