Hi all New to garden tractor talk.

Would like to share my restoration project, and get help finding parts, ect.

I believe this Montgomery Ward Hydrostatic 16 is a 1975/1976 model built by Gilson Brothers.  The model # an d serial numbers are no longer readable on the tag. From the manuals I have down loaded from this site the model # that closetly represent what I have are gil-33185 or gil-33186

I am looking for a couple of parts -- a fan part # 14711  20160830_114947.jpg

]and a muffler assembly part # 31948  20160830_115021.jpg

Plan to tear the tractor down to the frame and blast, primer and paint.  If any one make custom decal I would be interested in their services.

What kind of hydro is that? An Eaton with a Peerless differential? My older Gilson-Wards had Vickers.

To answer ACmowerguy It is a Peerless differential model 2505 and acording to the peerless manual  "most 2500 models are ran by Eaton Model 10 hydrostatic unit"  I have not verified if this is an Eaton Model 10 (This is a learning experience for me).  Thank you for your question as it required me to do some research and enhanced my knowledge on this tractor I am working on.

That is a good drivetrain. I have it in Alice, my 2 FF20 Sears and the LGT165 Ford!
