I normally don't post about this kind of stuff but my pet jersey cow Jesse was found dead in the pasture tonight(my dad found her while I was at work while feeding round bales), I raised her from a two week old calf, she was as friendly tame as a puppy.  She was 6years, 5months old, she is greatly missed by us and her 1week old heifer calf JJ(short for Jesse Jr.), R.I.P. Jesse 04/11/2010-09/06/2016.

It doesn't matter how big or small our pets are, there is always room in our hearts for them... but when they're gone, the hole where they were remains for a while.
Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about your loss.  Maybe taking care of JJ will help ease the pain.

We are thinking along the lines of  a blood clot or the like from calving and it finally took her, she was healthy and eating right until the end, we'll never no for sure.

Sorry for your loss. JJ will be needing lots of pets and grooming to help her through this, it is attention and company as much as milk that she'll need. Jerseys are special!

JJ is 1/2jersey/1/2santa gertrudis, but the needs will be the same, I did it with Jessie 6years ago, I'll do it with JJ now.  BTW, I always loved Jerseys, Jessie left this world too soon.
