Got it for free, 20hp onan (spins free), 7sp trans with hi/low range, and a 50 in deck. Called a MTD "Tradesman", never had one before. The carb is totally screwed i think, the butterflys wont even move, but everything is intact and in decent shape. He said it ran but wouldnt idle....wish me luck!

Im going to soak the whole thing in pb blaster, and then take a little tack hammer and tap the cable bracket back and fourth, ive freed plenty of old 2bbl motorcrafts that way :)

Then i can shove some gas down its throat and hit the key to see where i stand lol
