I have 2 restored Snapper 1855A tractors that I have to sell to pay medical bills due to cancer. I don't know how much to ask for them. They aren't perfect but they do run really good and everything is functional. When I mean not perfect is that they aren't 2000 paint jobs and little things like the dashes aren't perfect. I did tear them all the way down to the frame blast sand primer and paint and replace as many of the parts as I could with better parts I am going to try and post some pictures Thanks Nick I have to get some bills paid and I really hate to let them go but I cant continue to not to care of the bills to the people who have been keeping me alive

Beautiful machine.  There have been a couple for sale around here recently.  One still listed on Craigslist that has been listed on and off all summer.

Nick, I'm sorry to hear that.  That's a nice machine.  It looks like you've done a better than usual job at it as well.  There are definitely some nice touches, like with the Deka battery, etc.  The only thing I see hurting the value is the lack of the 3 point hitch.  Of course that could always be added.  Are there any implements that go with them, or are you selling the tractors by themselves?

If they had a 3 pt hitch, I wouldn't feel ashamed asking $2,000.  I may know a guy who might buy both of them off of you...let me get his number and I'll text it to you.

Are these the only two tractors you have, or are you keeping one for when things turn around for you?

Take care buddy...

Sorry to hear about the cancer. And I'm sure you don't want to sell. Hopefully things come around for you.

Noel.

Bad time of year with mowing season winding down. Sorry to hear you have to sell. Good thing the government fixed the health care system. Good luck.     Don

I do have a 3 point hitch somewhere I believe but without the hitch I thought I would start at $1500 cause they always want to beat you down in price One of them I started with just the block and by the time I found all the parts and built the engine I had just over $900 in the engine alone
