I paid 100 for mine. It doesn't run....yet . It doesn't seem to have spark. I think it's worth every penny to me as I will have hours of fun tinkering with it.

I say yours was worth around that I payed 125 for mine and its in nice shape the one on ebay don't have a good tire on it and it really rusty.

Nice rider, bordering on the cute side.
If nothing else, it Has a certain cool factor in that not many of them survived.

I just picked it up today.

Can you read the model number on the tag?  ....There is a ghost of numbers in the pic, but I can't read them on my computer.

The Bolens Suburban riding mowers (with B&S engines) were painted gold in 1963, and were known as models 8724-01 (4hp - 24"cut) and 8726-01 (5hp - 26" cut).

From 1964 thru 1969, they were painted white.

1964 models:  8724-02 (4hp - 24"cut) and 8726-02 (5hp - 26" cut).

1965 models:  8724-03 (4hp - 24"cut) and 8726-03 (5hp - 26" cut).

1966-67 models:  8725-01 (4hp - 24"cut) and 8727-01 (5hp - 26" cut).

1968-69 models:  8725-01 (4hp - 24"cut) and 8728-01 (5hp - 26" cut).

I will try to get a better look at that number later today. As the motor is 7hp its been repowered?

The engine is not original , The engines were painted white to match the frame on these

The engine numbers will tell us the year of that B&S
