Hi, my neighbor has an older Gilson riding mower model 52106 48236. It's an 8hp, 30" blade. We're looking for both belts, but we don't have the parts manual. I've found several sources for the belts, but I can't find the part numbers.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, Bob

Thanks much for the info. Do you by chance have the parts manual?

Bob

I just found the Dayco company website and checked for Gilson, riding mower, model 52106.

They show their part number L474, 1/2 X 74 for the deck, and L345, .41 X 45 for the drive.

Does this sound correct?

Bob

Hi,

I have the manual for the 52106A and thanks to drbish, the manual for the 52106B. Mine is a plain 52106, and there seems to be a difference in the clutch-brake adjustment. Both the A&B manuals show a 2 5/8 dimension, my spring is much longer and can't compress to that dimension.

Any ideas?
