And if you don't want to be humane, it's still a fool proof trap that they aren't going to get out of.

Clever!

I prefer to exterminate the vermin with extreme prejudice.

I have a metal one that catches multiple mice alive. It cost me about $15. I have got 6 or 7 at a time with it in the barn. I am not sure if it is considered humane however when you drop the trap full of live mice into a 5 gallon bucket of water.

I am usually dealing with this around 5am, before having any coffee. Moving targets under those conditions is too much of a challenge.

If you want to make this trap which is fool proof non-humane, you just fill it full of water.

Yeah, I like the Victors, too. They keep trying to invent a better bait pan, though. My wife thought she would send off to a web dealer for packages of cheaper Chinese traps. The first time I tried to set them, the spring pressure would pull out the staples and they would fly apart.

Quite by accident I made one heck of a mouse trap,In my garage I had a big ,deep plastic tote I kept sun flower seeds in because I like to feed the birds in winter,Well there was maybe 3 cups of seeds left in the bottom and I accidently left the cover off and a board fell up against it.One day I was in the garege and I could hear this huge rustling sound,,,that tote had at least 100 mice in the bottom of it,,,yeah they all had a bad day!
