I really like the cut out on the rear of the 316 and the single fuel line from the tank.

Will the tank and fender pan swap to a 318??

My 318 came with no motor and I have a CH23 to put back in it as well and a rear 3pt.

I don't like the idea of running two fuel lines like the original 318 has and would like to run just one.

Which 316?  The earlier Kohler powered model?

I have no idea since it didn't have a motor when I got it. The drive shaft has the little round fiber disk on it instead of a u-joint like my others. The frame looks exactly like the frame on my 317.

That's the early 316

I'd possibly be interested in the driveshaft and related parts. Can you share the serial number? Let me do some digging.

JDparts shows two tanks used on the 300/316 - AM35192 and AM100543

JDparts shows two tanks used on the 318 = M85145 and M75107

I can't tell from the pics if they will interchange.

I know the fender pans are different and I am pretty sure they attach to the frame in a different way.

I guess the only way to find out for sure is to try it.

If the tank does happen to fit I know that I will have to mod the attachment point on the fender pan so I am not too worried about that part.
