I noticed that the hydro fan on my 317 does not have a splined hole in it. And I can see that on my parts tractor 316 has a female splined fan on the rear of its hydro.
Would I be able to swap the one from the 316 to the 317 so that my 317 will have the option for a splined fan on its hydro?

The 316 looks exactly like the 317, frames are the same and all.

Is it just a roll pin that holds the fan on the shaft coming out the back of the pump??

I can check the manual this afternoon but I am pretty sure it is that simple.  The same pump/axle was used on the 120/late140/300/312/314/316k/317.  The open frame machines (318/322/330/332) used the same pump with some variations.
