Found this video.Had no idea you could use a GM Coil pack to replace a Kohler or Onan coil.Had my doubts till he started it rite up and it ran well.

 

I can get these all day long at the junk yard for $10-$15 off of 2.8l- 3.8l Chevy V6 engines.

 

 

 

 

I'm working on a CCKA on a yellow commercial gravely.Has a bad coil and some dodgy wiring.

this coil pack can be found at
rockauto.com for the same 10-15 new
no guessing if its good
plus shipping of course

You can use some Harley Davidson and early John Deere coils as well, but the modern coils are far better and cheaper.
