I agree on the new "names" some are dreaming up.  Granddaughter combined 3 names into one, something like Joselyne.  Can't pronounce it let alone spell it right.

I've seen some great ones. I really hate when they take a good name and spell it funny. My daughters name is Paisley. But they spelled it paizlee! I was like pa-IZ-lee?

I get tired of my name. Traditional spelling of Aaron but I have spent most of my life correcting people

Congratulations to your family. My Olde Deere felt "new life, clean slate" and we chose names that no one in either of our families had. That way no one felt slighted if Grandpa/ uncle/ brother from one side or the other was not included. We weren't planning on having 14 kids just to keep the naming game level.    :rolling:  :rolling:  :rolling:

Congratulations Aaron!  Looks like that little one was well worth a little bit of panic.  I'm with everyone on the names these days.  The name you chose is just as beautiful as the little who will carry the name.  We bucked the trend with our girls too.  My oldest is Evelyn Faith and my youngest is Victoria Hope.  For a few years she was actually the only Victoria in the whole school.  My new granddaughter is Vienna.  I'm not sure where to classify that name (new or old) but I do like it.

Thanks everyone.

Me and the kids are home. Mom and baby have to stay in the hospital for 48 hours.

What a day. Me and Cooper took a nap and farah went and played with the neighborhood kids. Wife was falling asleep when we left. Adeline has been sleeping all day.

Well ok no Aaron and Erin! That would have caused confusion anyway---LOL! Adeline is a beautiful name. There is a traditional old time female singing group around here that go by "The Sweet Adelines". Glad all went well and you are getting a bit of rest now.
