Traded one of my teledyne military motors for this. Has a fabricated rear lift( along with factory parts)

Needs batteries- but does run.

I have a parts tractor that will be donating a seat, etc5b4d76f7780d0169dbe7273f41863ec7.jpg4ca6409d3bd28886e1845eac1e5bd480.jpg80063ec7bbce786e29a85d339a22a4ed.jpg

Nice!  That should be an E12M (for mid-mount mower) if it's an Elec-Trak (not the New Idea version).  The metal is in above average condition on that.  Leave the seat on it...go do some fishin'!  =)

If you are mowing an acre or less, it will run fine on 3 x 12V deep cycle marine batteries (group 29 or 31).  One up front, two under the seat.  It will save you some money.  If you need full run capacity, 6 x 6V golf cart batteries.  That will mow a couple acres.

Just don't do too much heavy pulling/towing/pushing with it.  GE had Peerless put bushings in the axle tubes on that particular model.  It will push/pull just about anything you want, but those bushings will prematurely wear.  All other models had bearings in the axle tubes.  I don't know why they cheapened up this one.??

This has the simpler electronics on it.  No field weakening.  Very reliable.  Great mower.  Enjoy!

I agree and because it has the manual lift for the mower deck I'm sure it's a model    GE  12M.

New Ideas had electric lift for the mower deck.

It's one to keep because it's easy to fix and can run all the GE large frame attachments, trans/axle can be easily upgraded to the 4sp which would give you the creeper gear needed for the snow blower or roto tiller.

Got a few extras with trade- not sure if the motor is good. Any idea what size it is? 7ba0771f224c7173a3aa9ae605f715b8.jpg428e01f4c4836f13b51b049d2fb5c194.jpgf1fce6a6078e71dc425d252d3a3b0ea0.jpg

The motor is for an E15 should have a small double pulley on it.
