Completely legal.  Both tail lights are visible and not over 4 ft. past the back of the car - yet.

A man in motion between a fridge and a car

Holding a cart - hope they don't have to go far

For one bad bump or a rather sudden stop

May cause this plan to become a big flop

And the added cost of delivery may suddenly appear

To be rather inexpensive compared to a life I fear

Some people will try and save money in the strangest way

But it sometimes costs more than they save at the end of the day

If he falls off and breaks a leg or an arm

Or if he succumbs to some other form of harm

And the fridge may go flying into the path of a car

And be scattered in pieces near and afar

Let's hope they make it to their destination in one piece

And don't become another statistic for the police

For while it might look like an idea bright

The result of this ride may end in a very messy sight

And a new joke may be told about the fool and the fridge

That didn't quite make it home because of a bridge

A little bump in the road caused a news flash

When the fridge and the man caused a big splash

The headline would read - "Fridge in the drink"

And the caption question - "Why don't people stop and think?"
