Aaron and his Dad were loading up some scrap this morning, soi I gathered a few things to throw on as well. When the trailer came back up here, I loaded my little dab and looked things over. Saw an old Murray hood and grille with decent looking head lights in it. Threw it off to get the lights out. Under it was some chain. Grabbed that and Herman asked if I wanted the tire chains next to that. "Sure!" Threw them off too. After he left I got the tire chains out to see how big they were. HMMMMMMMMM? Those look about GT size! Got one of my chains out from the Ford and they are the same length. :dancingbanana:  They are 4-link and 14" wide, but look to have the ice links across them. I think they will fit 23-10.50's just fine. The one on the left is from the Ford in the first pic.

Here's the head lights and what they were in. They are around 4-3/8" wide and 3-1/8" tall.

Not sure what to do with the tire chains. Not much call for them down here!

LOL Don't know why but I always scarf up all the tire chains I find at the scrap yard to.I have 7 sets and only 1 set that will fit a 12x12 or 10.50 tire.I have 3 sets for a 9.50 tire and I've used those on a 10.50 but they like to roll off.Other 3 sets are for the narrower 5-8.50 tires.

Tire chains work good for plowing even on AGs.Gives them quite a bit more bite.

I have not had an issue with bite when plowing. Maybe 200 lbs per side and my mangy carcass takes care of that!
