Took the starter off my 7G today to check the bearings for wear. (Armature shaft is bent0
While cleaning the case in noticed a stamp on the back saying MADE IN JAPAN. Hmmm!

It could be worse... made in China!

If companies insist on producing thier products overseas, they could at least cut us a price break. Labor over there is about 25 cents a day.

I wouldn't worry much about a starter made in Japan 35 years ago. lol

Also Tecumseh is toast anyway. So they aren't making products period.

You have no idea how much of a parrot head you're talkin to here.:rocker2:

He's playing in Toronto in july. Just happens to be the busiest day of the year
for my business. I'm thinking about selling.:D

Have some good friends in NH that are hard core parrot heads. Yah, they p[lan there vacations around his concerts. There house is one big Tikki Bar. LOL
