Met a man at a local J.D. show last Saturday. He had some antique Maytag washers and some engines on display. Talked to him for a bit and told him what I collect. Told me he had most of 3 Canadian made Empire walk behinds that he couldn't give away. Changed that for him. Picked them up yesterday but it was quite a struggle to get them out of his storage building and on to my trailer. Price was right though so work was a cheap price to pay..

Dave, Great find and looks like you got some good original tires out of the deal too. Will you be able to save all 4 of them or only build 2 out of the 3?

Nice networking and a nice save.
Even have a pattern for the handles.
Are there enough parts there to make one good one or more?

TD&H and MH81; one good set of tires; hope to make one tractor to start with. Have both handles for pattern and the levers are on them

Sawdust & Hank G. Thanks for the comments.

Mark; there are 2 sets of implement arms so I'm good but thanks for the offer. Do you have any manuals or operators books for Empires?

KC9KAS; rest of building had several hit and miss engines and a lot of antique Maytag washing machines.
