I'ld buy that if closer, looks like a clean starter to build.  Nice it has the newer three-point with the rockshaft in back. My price range and all. BUT, when getting out of Hobbie, don't really need another project, had to remind myself.

Thanks for thinking of me Adam, it is too new,the White should have an aluminium grille , it's also is missing the side shields.

No problem, would you say it's a White or a MTD that someone put a White hood on?

The hoods are the same, color should have been silver stripe or silver with a red stripe on a White, the grilles on the mtd's are steel and cast aluminum on the whites'

The 1650 is an earlier version, built from 74-78,and had a fiberglass hood,  the 1655 built in - 79, the 1855 ,79 - 83, anything after 83 really isn't a White

Thanks for the info, didn't Know there were that many different models over that much time.

After finding that GT1000, ( one of the rarest Whites there is ) and after doing the show and talking to people who are still using the large tractors, I'm going to be keeping an eye on your area , seems to be a hot spot.

Yeah, there seems to be a lot of Whites, Allis Chalmers and Oliver around here, from what I gather locally they had a large amount of dealers here back in the day, now we got JD and CNH mostly.
