Hi. I attended an auction of 74 running antique tractors on the weekend. Nice collection 70 of the tractors had been restored. The gentleman is 78 and decided he didn't have enough time to keep air in all the tires let along start and run each of them regularly enough. He wanted to know where they went and is willing to help if the new owners have issues down the road. He was running out of room as he has 10 more that is waiting to be restored. He told me he is not quitting he needs something to do.
Nice little John deere LA went for $12,000 Look at the tube frame on it. He also had a John deere D with both exhaust and intake on the right side. Only 70 ever built and 3 are known to exist in the world. It went for $30,000. It was a great day to look at this equipment all in one place visit with a bunch of older gentlemen who had run this kind of machinery, sharing stories. Just about all of them started. A few they couldn't get going at sale time. The guys doing the hand cranking certianly had a workout.
