The deck is marked Wheel Horse is several places, the one I am getting has the mounts like the one you posted, measured from blade tip to blade tip underneath was +/- 42", could a 42' not be mounted to my tractor?

Don't know if it will fit or not. Can't look it up because Wheel Horse considered a 42" deck too much for a 8hp engine so none in the attachment lists. Being a medium length frame I don't know if there is room for a long frame tractor mower.

I'll try it I guess, worst case scenario, I can always get my $50 back fairly easy.

Think I may have an idea of what my current deck should fit.

1967 Model 1277

It would also fit a 1968-70 Charger/Raider/Bronco 12

May have found a 36" rear discharge deck, hard to tell for sure as they said they used it on a Raider12, any thoughts?

What info do you want? The 12 could handle a 42".

Just how different are the mounting points?

Any 1973 or newer Wheel Horse B or C series with the Attach-a-Matic mounting system will interchange implements. They have the same mounting hardware on the frame and the same mule drive on the front.

OK, so this one should work as it has that mule drive with it.

That is the 1972 or older mounting system. Used on 1967-72 Raider,Charger, Broncos. It's hard for me to point out the differences when it is disassembled.

Notice in these pictures of the new style that the deck hangs from the two parallel bars. In the hardware photo in the Letgo ad is a large piece that looks wide and flat w/ a round bar that forms a cross. That piece replaces the bars in the old style.

PS - Part of the mule for the earlier Raider, etc. is permanently installed on the right side tractor frame; part is installed on the deck
