Hello Pumpkintoter,

The front attachments you have will fit the 120, 140 and all 300 series tractors.

You didn't list any rear attachments but, if you do in fact have rear attachment for the 316K, these will only fit the closed frame models as the rear open frame models have there own series of rear attachments.

Good luck hunting for a new machine, it is always fun !!!!

The 400 is pretty much "attachment specific", 420 is 2" wider on the front! ~~ grnspot

There are a couple more model options as well. The 322 with a gas powered 3cyl Yanmar engine and the 332 with a diesel version of the 3cyl Yanmar.

Both of which will have power steering , 2 spool hydraulics and dual brakes.

Here are my 140 and 332 that I have and both use the same front attachments, a 54 blade and 49 thrower.

I have seen an adapter on another site that will let you run 300 series attachments on the 420-430 series tractors. I will see if I can find it.

I think I saw an adapter that allowed you to install the quick hitch from the 425 ,445 and X700's on to the older tractors. There have been a number of versions of the QH. I have one that is narrow to fit the 2320 that I have. I plan to build an adapter to use the QH on my 314 as I already have the 54" blade and the hitch. It wouldn't be that hard to fab a hitch adapter to go between any of the series if you are only using the blade. It gets trickier if you need the PTO steady bearing for using the blower.
I think I saw the adapter at one of the WFM or MTF sponsor sites.

I've used the "frame squeezer" for one year (PO had sold the wrong blade w/a 318) on my 420. worked, but a bit of a nuisance! Longer hoses are needed, hard to connect hoses. After the first year, I found out what I needed for my blade; cut both ends off the mounting bracket, added 1" to each side, & welded it back together.
