I've been digging through the forums, and I'm having an issue finding parts or someone that can rebuild the Eaton 10 in my H16.  It has a shudder when taking off, and lacks power on hills.  I changed the fluid, filter, belts, and tensioner spring, so I'm pretty sure it's time for a rebuild.

I've seen the manuals with the external adjustments and such, I'm looking for a teardown/rebuild manual for this.

Any of the vendors have parts for these?

Thanks again!

There aren't many replaceable parts for those, just  bearings, o-rings and seals. The Eaton hard parts aren't available.

That seems to be the results I've been coming up with.  Anyone know if there is a different hydro that can swap in relatively easy?  Eaton 11 maybe?

You may be just as well off to buy one off ebay they show up from time to time. I've bought parts tractors off craigslist just for a hydro, just a thought. I know it's tough trying to parts for these. If you diagnose it wrong then you wasted your time and money on parts, it's a tough call matter what. Someone here put an eaton 11 into a tube frame tractor but I'm not sure of the details involved besides changing over some plumbing.
