I am wondering if anyone knows, or can point me in the right direction, as to:  Will any other Hydro transmissions from any other garden tractors work for my MF 16  and hookup to my driveshaft with little to no modifications?  Im having trouble finding parts for mine and im just exploring my options.

Thanks

Chris

MF 14 and 16 would be the same.

I know there were others that used similar transmission/hydro units, but as far as a bolt in swap I have no idea. I'm going to guess that the trans from a 1450/1650 would be a good "candidate", but I don't know about direct fit, bolt up and go.

What exactly is wrong with your tractor's rear end?

There's a housing, a gear, and a pin that goes on the pump, over the input shaft, which bolts to the pump and directly to the driveshaft. They are missing, and agco says no go on parts.so I'm just researching and look8ng at my options.

The 50 series would be a real close fit.  Width should be the same just use the linkage from the 16.

We are going to do that this winter.
