HA! I bought clipper, picked out the #2 for 1/2" I think it is.  Told wife to give it a go. She was too scared to run it. Took my "coaching" for quite awhile to get it going right. STILL tho, at everytime I get it out again, have to re-train here on right way.  She doesn't seem to want to press the cutter end to my head and is going up/down wavy during cut. I have done it myself, but like noted, the backside is tough to get yourself.  Daughter does here kids all the time, mostly shaves, but least gets done.  If I go to barber, is bueaty shop, about $15, but like the Lady touching me all over and the conversation.  Most I get from a woman anymore, heh!

That reminds me I need to get my next to last one in for the year. I do my last buzz labor day weekend and let it grow out until good friday. I trim up the side so it doesnt flip up around the hat, shorten the top around christmas, then let'er go. I have a good mullet going by easter. Tried that with my beard one year, had a 6" goat going, the wife didnt care much for that

I go to a friends wife who cut mine for $10 and does a great job.  When and if she goes up on the price I may have to start looking into alternatives.  The good thing is her husband brings me his equipment to fix so it really is like getting a free haircut.

As far a blades go I have been using http://www.dorcousa.com/ . About $25 keeps me in blades for 6 months or better and I think they are even better then the name brand.  They also have a referral program, you can get 20% off if I refer you.  They run email deals all the time too.

I still have an injector razor and I wish I could find the blades for a decent price. The only ones I find are on eBay and they think they are a collectors item.

My wife shaves my head. I haven't paid for a haircut in years and won't. When she gets tired of shaving it I break out the Bic Razors and just go bald. It's refreshing...and I'm losing my hair so I might as well.

Never used one, just went looking after your comment. How does it shave?

I'm getting a kick out of this injector razor discussion, I remember when they were in a war with double edge razors, for the buying public's dollar. Half the commercials on football games were for shaving products. That was back when men shaved their faces, not their butts!

I wonder how that is accomplished? Seems like it would take a partner...

My grandfather used to say old Milwaukee would put hair on your butt.

I cut Heaths hair a couple of weeks ago. It looked pretty good, but I missed one spot because he wouldn't be still. Steph took it upon herself to fix it. He looked like he was recovering from chemotherapy. Fortunately his hair grows as fast as mine. I am going to put his head in a vice next time.

I took the 1 out and cut the rest of it off.

I'll bet it is still longer than the no hair on the top of my head.  :smilewink:
