Melted a garbage bag that I put in the can earlier this week. We are expecting some COOLER (Yaaaa) weather so I decided to open the bag up and put it in the can, and move it inside the shed. Found it to be melted.

Hit 100 here with the heat index and it isn't supposed to let up for another few days.

I could never understand someone who would live in Tejas and then complain about the heat. Kind of like an Inuit who doesn't like fish.

Not complaining, just surprised to find a melted trash bag that was left outside. If I was to complain, it would be the electric bill.

Boy, that dog has the right idea
Basically, our week has been high 80's to low ninety's and the real feel is over 100.
It's hotter than I'm used to melting-snow-man-vector.jpg

Oh, and it SOOOO hot that the chickens are laying hard boiled eggs.

Thermometer at work in the shade this morning at 10:30 said 103!  I can't imagine what the heat index was.

Hot summer is over here, in the mid to lower twenties celcius here now, but will still get nice weather for the next while.

I don't complain about frost warning in August. I figure it's a part of living at 5800 ft altitude. Had a high of 80*F today and dry.
