Recently, someone posted a photo of a tractor. I don't remember who, but I don't think the machine was identified. Anyhow, I found this site and immediately recognized the grille and hood. For your interest and discussion;

Not sure how many horse power on that model, but if it's the Ottawa 20 mule team, it runs on borax. :thumbs:

I remember seeing that in a post too, not quite as pristine as the photo your showing ... really a neat looking unit. Hope your documentation helps somebody.

Man those Borax commercials are a ways back now aren't they ?

Do you remember that cowboy show sponsored by 20 mule team borax? I think it was hosted by an 'old scout' or something.

The tractor in my avatar is a McLean Husky. I know very little about it and have just about exhausted the internet looking for info. I have leaned enough to know that it's going to take a lot of work to get it where it should be. I have a post with more pics.

    Post lots of pictures, that is how the muleteam was found. Might be someone out there says "o yea I got three of those"    Don
