I'm in need of a usable Briggs Large 2 piece Flow Jet Carburetor for a Briggs 14-16hp Cast Iron block engine.

I have a good usable top 1/2 with a good float. My Bowl nut is stripped out and jet is snapped off in the carb.

I recently purchased another Sears SS14 with a decent deck but does not run.Carb was on the tractor and I was told that it ran just over 1 year ago.Which I find very hard to believe by how rusted up the Points were and the condition of the rest of the tractor.

I either need another Carb or just the bottom 1/2 and the jet/venturi and bowl nut.

Carb looks like this one.If I had the $70 to buy 1 I would get 1 off of Ebay.

I've got a nice one from an 11HP Briggs, but I don't know if it'd work for you or not.

$50 is cheap for a carb like that, Most times these sell for around $80 without any work being done to them.  good rebuilt ones can run you around $100.

I snagged a NOS one , still in box , at a swap last month.  Wasn't looking for one, but

I couldn't get to my wallet fast enough when the guy said he'd take 50 bucks for it !

They have them listed by engine model number.

I've seen them on here before but lost my bookmark.

I usually just look for 16hp Briggs Carburetor and it brings up a bunch of carbs for $80-$250.I'll have to remember to put the model numbers in more often.
