So I took three truck loads down to loyalsock and brought home four. I picked up this planet jr. It is a matching tractor to the two row planter I already have, so I am excited about that. I need to know the model and the correct engine for it. It looks like it has a reversing disc on it. I have not seen that on a planet jr before. Any input would be great as I am not well versed on the planet jr line.image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

The serial tag is there on the engine mounting plate.  That tag should tell you what model you have.

To me it looks like a Planet Jr. BP-1   That reverse is scarce for sure!  The engine would have a 6-to-1 gear reduction.  otherwise it'll take off like a rocket.

Post the pics on the planet jr Facebook group. The guys on there told me it is a model B-8R and it should have a Briggs 8R6 engine.
